Durham Gastroenterology Consultants participates with most major insurance carriers. We recommend that you check with your insurance provider to verify your coverage. We participate with the following insurance plans:
Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Wellpath, Duke Select and Duke Basic (until 12/31/2010), Federal Employee Plan, United Health Care, Cigna, Medcost, HealthCare Savings, Aetna, NC State Employee Health Plan, Private Health Care Systems, First Health, Assurant Health, Physican's Care Network, Medicare and most Medicare Replacement Plans, and Medicaid.
We do not participate with Humana (with the exception of Humana Gold Choice), Tricare Prime, or Champ VA.
We are happy to assist you by filing all necessary insurance claims with your insurance provider for reimbursement. In order to do this, we will need your most recent insurance information on file. If your insurance plan requires a co-payment, payment is expected at the time of service. We accept cash, personal check, Visa, and MasterCard. If full payment is not possible, we can assist you in formulating a payment plan. All balances not paid by insurance policies are the responsibility of the patient.
